Beautiful tower

It's clock/bell tower dominates the tiny town of Perast. It has a pretty square just in front where local artists sell their wares. Very photogenic!

A climb up this beautiful landmark in Perast is not to be missed. The climb isn't easy but the views of Perast and the Bay of Kotor from the top are spectacular and well worth the effort. Admission is only €1. Time your visit well to beat the crowds.

Church & attached small museum are typical of many other churches with usually religious relics on display The climb up the bell tower is more rewarding with delightful views however steps are narrow & steep

All the views in Perast are spectacular but we decided to take the €5 boat ride (return) to this small yet beautiful island. The small boats are taking tourist all day and the crossing takes about 10 minutes. St Nikola Church is the key attraction but to the look back to the mainland and to the huge hills in the... More

The church is nice, but for €1 there are more rooms. One contains many priest robes (i dont know the technical name) and then there is is part of an older(?) Church with a beautiful sunlit alter piece and some other items.

The walk up is well worth the view, hands down. It was only one or two euro, so a total deal. It's old, filled with bird droppings, has some low ceilings, and requires someone smaller, nimble, and sure footed. Personally, I wouldn't take a child up due to the potential hazards, but that may just be the overprotective American in... More

This is a must do as the views are spectacular form the many levels from the bell tower. Entry is 1€ per person. The climb is up stone steps that wind up the tower and in some places does is a little cramped. Some level of fitness is required and is Ok for people who don't have a good head... More

St Nikola's church, on the waterfront, is the most distinguishable church in Perast, with it's bell tower visible throughout the tiny town and from the coastal road that passes above. It is free to enter the chapel itself, although there is a fee if you want to climb the tower or look at the museum, we didn't have time as... More

A central landmark in Perast the bell tower appears from many different angles as it sits along side the St Nicholas church. The climb is interesting as you negotiate the 150 stairs and a couple of tight spots but the views from the top are well worth the climb and the 1€ entrance fee. Entry into the church is free...
