Although we were nearly thwarted at entrance for not bringing our passports despite the guide pre-booking, this visit was fascinating and showed what can be done by brining water from the Andes down to a plain that is surrounded by desert. beautifully kept and with a range of old wine equipment, the tour of the winery was well arranged with... The moment you get dropped to the gates of this winery, you are greeted with a fabulous place that is very well maintained and presented. The grounds are so neat and manicured. It is a lovely place to sit in, relax and enjoy. Our guide was friendly and had good English. We were lucky enough to have just the two... More

This winery is extremely beautiful and the wine is delicious. Our guides were friendly and accommodating. We had a great meal there, one of the best we had so far in Peru.

We drove to the winery and upon our arrival it was amazing. The landscape and flowers are beautiful and the tour was great. Miguel treated us like we owned the winery and took us everywhere and explained the process and wines very well I would like to go again and drink more wine. I drove so I bought a few... More

Tours to Tacama vineyard with a visit to 2 others in the area started at 45 soles per person. As budget travellers we spoke to a taxi driver who agreed to take us for 30 soles in total including return to Ica and wait time. On arrival at the winery, we were ushered into a video room for an English... More

This was a fairly quick stop on our way from Lima to Nasca. Interesting tour of how they make wine and pisco followed by a tasting of a couple of wines and pisco.

We spent half a day at this beautiful, tranquil vinyard and had a great time. We booked the tour "Don Manuel" and had a great guide with Miguel. After the tour we had tasting with Humberto, who knows a lot about the wine making process, senses and of course the Tacama wines. The cheese platter was excellent and we especially... More

If you're planning to go to ICA include TACAMA winery in your plans. It is a beautiful place, full of flowers everywhere. Also the have a free tour, so the only thing you would have to pay is a Taxi; as its location is a little bit away from the city the best thing to do is to make a... More

Tacama was a beautiful way to spend the day in Ica. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, especially Lorena Gihua who gave my Hacienda tour. She was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke English very well. I learned a lot of the history the vineyard, and it really rounded out my experience. Highly recommend! Ask for Lorena!
