My husband, sister and I went to the hot springs in aguas Calientes. The location is at the end of the Main Street a few minutes from the plaza. The walk to get their is pre workout if you are planning to attend MT. Machu...More

Terrible experience, don't loose time going there. Dirty, small, crowded, bad organised...better if you just relax after MachuPichu in the hotel and then go to a bar to take a drink. Doesn't worth at all.

Nice town surrounded by hills, however we tried two restaurants and food was quite bad, couldn't sleep well at night as party was on till 2am, however had to get up early to catch the bus up to Machu Picchu. By the time we arrived...More

We walked up to the hot springs. The setting is fine with decent change facilities, but there is one one pool which is quite hot but not super hot. The pool has a gravel bottom which is unique. It was overpriced for what it was...More

Older style hot springs. Not a spa. Well used by locals. Clean with a bit of a sulphur smell. Not that large, so you are right next everyone. Peruvians are friendly so no problem.

After the climb to Macchu Picchu we returned to our hotel then went over to the hot springs, just up the valley. Nice warm water not too crowded. We rented towels from a vender at the start of trail up to the hot springs. It's...More

I went there expecting the worst from people's previous reviews. The water is murky: normal, the bottom of the pools are gravel and this is mountain water. But the place is nice enough if you are not expecting a 5 star spa. Nice place to...More
