A nice spot

The spring pools, Ojo de Agua, were somewhat ramshackle. They was nothing especially volcanic, healing or heated about them. Given our lodge had a beautiful little infinity pool with a view of Lago de Nicaragua and Volcan Concepcion being at these pools felt somewhat unnecessary. There were a few locals, a few gringos and lots of vendors selling coconuts and... More

We ran a Quad from Moyogalpa Hotel Soma to Ojo de Agua had a great time cooling off with cold Tona delivered to you. A natural spring great spot to relax for the afternoon. If you are a smoker tho it is a no smoke zone, not many of those in Nicaragua.

Spent a couple of hours at Ojo de Agua the other day and overall, it was enjoyable. I wanted to visit because I had read so much about it being a must-see in Nica. The pools and surroundings are pretty enough but the place was packed and loud when we were there. Unfortunately there were lots of gnats and other... More

Walked in from Santo Domingo and was an easy walk for our family of four (9 and 12). It's not 100% natural and mostly man made but we have a great time. The tarzan swing was the best for my daughter and many adults there. The meal we had at the restaurant was the best we had in our three... More

In one work - GO!!! Such a great place to spend your day. We biked there so were a sweaty mess and the water is just amazing. You can easily spend the entire day there but would recommend about 3 hours. Also the souvenirs there are extremely cheap and homemade.

We had a great time at Ojo de Agua, a nice place to cool down. The water is nice and clean and you can even buy coconuts to sip on by the water. We also saw a bunch of monkeys!

We rented bikes one morning and were some of the first few people here. Clear water in beautiful surroundings made for a nice swim. Bar and restaurant on site were decently priced and we enjoyed cocktails and beers by the pool. Probably only worth one visit and try to go in the morning to avoid the crowds.

This gem on the island of Ometepe is just beautiful. The water is from an underground volcanic spring and the water moves through the lagoon so is never stagnant. Beautiful temperature to refresh yourself. It can get busy but there is plenty of =room in the lagoon. Surrounded by trees plus it has a small bar area and tables under... More

What a great spot to spend the day. Went on a Sunday and there was a lot of people. Refreshing spot, the water is just the right temperature. Food and beer is reasonably priced. A lot of Nica families brought their own food and drink. $3 per person to get in. A must visit.
