Beautiful beach to unwind at. Powdery white sand, crystal clear water and plenty of islands to hop off to for snorkelling and some peace and quiet. Plenty to do along the beach stretch at night too. Beach bars, shisha, food galore.

Saw boat loads of people thronging the area. Got some nice fire show at 10:30pm. Just not my cup of tea I guess. I prefer the quiet beach life. Haha.

We stayed over 2 months on Perhentian Kecil. I won't recommend Long beach for holidays before April (and after September) as it can be very windy with strong currents. Be ware of rip current on the mid section of the beach (between sand banks)!!! One...More

Most of the stuff are friendly and smiley, but breakfast is too cheap, basic room without fridge, recreation is too much expensive than other arounds. The reception guy is oriented selling than service. Too expensive, look away you will find better and with half price....More

Getting too commercialized. Compared to the last time I visited this. More trash now along the beach. Waves could be pretty strong too for non-strong swimmers. Surfers would love this stretch though. The view from the rocks at the right end of the beach is...More

Visited on a Friday morning to noon around mid Feb (monsoon) Beach was literally empty with only 1-2 restaurants open. Great for a beach stroll and some soul searching :-P

Tiv, available only if you can make arrangements with the beach boys or boatsmen in advance. They don't sit around waiting for customers at night. And yes it would be pricier.

No duty free shops that I saw, not exactly sure on drinks prices but must have been reasonable or I would have picked up on it.
