The Bekaa Valley was somewhere I had always wanted to visit. The original land of milk and honey, it is chock full of ancient ruins to visit, vineyards and orchards, and some great restaurants. A vital part of any Lebanon trip.

We hired a hotel driver for the day to take us to Bekaa, stopped along the way into cafes and candy stores. The snow capped mountains called "Anti-Lebanon Mountains" (true name) in the dead of summer was a contrast.
