Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the worst tent service in Wadi Rum, the owner is completely rude and impolite, the reviews are paid, you will see what I'm talking about if you go there, this tent is a scam, there are plenty of others places with better service

Khazali Canyon, also known as Jebel Khazali, is one of the best-known features of Wadi Rum. Although it is only around 100 feet (35 meters) long, the petroglyphs are quite spectacular. The petroglyphs are rock drawings, dating back over 12,000 years. The petroglyphs are diverse, depicting both people and animals. Some show women giving birth; others show animals which can no longer be found in this area. In all, it's well worth spending time here, the petroglyphs tell an enthralling tale of times past.

An impressive and majestic spot.
I didn't climb it, but the rock is seen from many different spots of the area.
It looks climbable in some places but I believe that it might require special equipment.
My camp was just below this landmark.
If you are professional climber I am sure you can find spots for yourself there.

This canyon is related to the Wadi Rum area. The canyon has petroglyphs (rock carvings) with animals and humans, with writing in ancient scripts. Many of the native animals are no longer found wild in the area. It's likely that the petroglyphs are thousands of years old. By the way, a wadi is a dried watercourse that fills up once in a blue moon and a jebel is a mountain.

Utterly beautiful to see all the different views and to go to the various vantage points. Ensure this is on your route with the 4WD tour.

The mountain located at the protected area of Wadi Rum (Rum valley) has a narrow short canyon, its inner walls are covered with numerous Nabatean, Islamic (Kufic), and Thamudic inscriptions and petroglyph rock drawings.
we were told that at the end of the canyon there are several man-made water pools to collect rainwater, we did not have the chance to see them.

Our safari guide took us on an incredibly beautiful area: Khazali canyon.
It is a 100 narrow area with petroglyphs depicting humans( even women giving birth) and animals and Islamic,Talmudic and Nabatean inscriptions.
Our guide -Abdel Karim- even if he was very young was very professional and well informed.
Wear comfortable sport shoes since the path is very narrow.

Most visitors only enter the beginning of the canyon. 50 meters of walking. The canyon ahead is only for mountaineers. A nice place for those who only want to see. Those who are interested in a real hike are better off getting to Borda Bridge

There are many points to which tourists are taken to visit in Wadi Rum, most of them are quite impressive -- this one is no exception. The scenery all around this canyon is amazing, with the huge red boulders and red sand, contrasted against the blue sky and white flowers... Inside the canyon itself are plenty of Thamudic inscriptions on the walls. Definitely one of the interesting sites to visit in Wadi Rum.

Was very surprised to see this beautiful canyon with very magical looking trees by the entrance. I really feel like we have been in some movie set or something. Canyon is not deep and there is some muddy water in it. But you can see some petroglifs (inscriptions) with animals and woman giving birth. The stone cliffs are unbelievable high.
