Nothing prepared us for the spectacle that awaited us as we crossed the little village of Rum and from the pick up point of our camp. The terrain is unlike what we have ever seen before. Vast expanse of Protected desert land stretches for miles...More

We took a 2 hour keep tour. Would have loved to have stayed a night and camp here. However 2-3 hours is a good time to see enough sites and enjoy this fantastic desert! Glad we didn't pass on it and visited Wadi Rum!

Wadi Rum is certainly worth a visit, it's beautiful. We stayed one night, which was enough time to do everything, including to sleep under the most amazing night sky you'll possibly ever see!

Absolutely magnificent. If you've ever seen Lawrence of Arabia (or, preferably, read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom) you know the importance of the Wadi Rum to the Arab Revolt during the First World War. You also know that much of the film was shot here....More

When visiting Wadi Rum, can you buy/book a 4x4 Jeep tour at the visitor centre, or does this have to be booked in advance/ not on the day?
