Used motor bike to go around this small island. Visiting mosque, cemetery, and new traditional house. 1 time visit was enough .

Pros: 1. Heritage island with friendly villagers 2. It took less than 2 hours to finish entire island trek Cons: 1. English isn't so workable at here

According to legends the mosque was built by an architect who the design and was killed after completion. Don't know how true the story was. The dom of the mosque was paste with the white of the egg to strengthen the surface. Sorry can't get more info has we have to rushed back to catchup with the last boat to... More

As a moslem, i got myself pretty excited to get here. Flew all the way from Jogja, then Batam, took ferry to Tanjung Pinang and another small boat to reach here, a def place where we can just spend a whole day learn about religion and culture. Very unique pedicab pulled by motorbike, otak2, and some pricey seafood are available.... More

15 minute travel on boat from Tanjung panang. Masjid is there in Penyengant Island and heard from the guide that its very powerful and all Indonesian Presidents will definetely visit this Masjid

Easy access by small boat which regularly back and forth from to Tanjung Pinang. Enjoy history of Melayu (Malay) Palace/Kingdom.
