The Kintamani Highland is one of the most scenic and beautiful places with a volcano that erupted back in 1963. we can see the settlements at the foot of the hill and the solidified lava rocks throughout the place. Amazing view at a good altitude. Only point is the bad roads to consider. Considering the beauty on top, its worth... More

We were too excited to see the volcano from the top. But once we reached on top, it was raining and foggy. Couldn't see anything. We headed straight back after having a buffet lunch as heavy rain was causing landslides along the way.

We always enjoy visiting Kintamani, since it is offering a great view of Mount Batur and the Lake Batur side by side, also the weather is always friendly cool and windy. There is the best spot/restaurant at Kintamani where we can just see right thru the mountain, I forgot its name. We can at least order a cup of coffee... More

Travelled by scooter to the Volcano. Beautiful views and the way the Volcano changes in the light is amazing. Many restaurants scattered along the main road with a variety of food and drinks available.

A must see if you visit bali and decide to trek Batour. We ended up eating lunch at an average, but expensive cafe. Nonetheless, the views were just spectacular. The way the sun hits the lake and all the little organic farms supplying the villages!. Its just breathtaking! Highly recommend
