Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is not the most beautiful waterfall I’ve seen. Nonetheless, it’s very popular with tours who go here. Probably because of the ‘rock slide’, with people queuing up for their chance to have some serious bum sore. The owners of the land, who charge people a hefty 100 baht per person, must be laughing their buns off ;)

Me and my partner visited this waterfall and really enjoyed it. Like many of the reviews have stated, it is rather dilapidated and run down - likely and affect of covid, and it is sad to see that businesses have had to close. However, if you are renting a scooter and like an adventure, it is worth driving here anyway because the views are fantastic! Lots of cool spots to climb to the top of the waterfall - some of the bridges are partially collapsed so would not recommend if you do not like or can’t traverse tricky areas. However if you are comfortable with this, I definitely recommend visiting for the peace and quiet and the views!

The waterfall itself is not the best. Because the water goes down layer by layer, the river flow is not that strong and that makers it look less impressive, but this makes it more suitable for swimming. You can chill at this rocky layers but the water is to low to swim in, you can only sit on it. Down the waterfall there is a little swimspot. Also you should keep in mind that the brown colored water is very cold and there is no sun after 4 pm.

This gorgeous waterfall will be at it’s peak beauty by the time international travel restrictions have ceased. Summer and Autumn are just perfect and even into the New Year as well.
There’s food and snacks, beverages and ice available so stay awhile and have a picnic or hit PAT’S RESTAURANT @ the lodge half way down the hill for a beer and curry. You’ll be so happy you did!

NOT free (100 baht/$3). Water is bought in by CVP pipes at the top during the DRY season to give the ‘illusion’ of a waterfall. I’m sure during the rainy season, the falls are roaring but during Feb-Apr, you might consider not going there. Semi-stagnant water.

It would have been a nice place to be. However, the cashiers come straight forward to you and require 100 Baht per person for a natural place.
I am pretty sure that Thais do not have to pay the fee and this gives just a bitter taste.
The waterfall is not spectacular and the slippy parts are quite painful for a longer ride. It is fun one-time, though.
It is definitely not worth the 100 Baht, though.

We went to several waterfalls in the end of february. To our biggest dissapointment there were no water in any of the waterfalls. So the biggest advice from me to you travellers is to save that time and money and don’t go the waterfalls if you are travelling in the end of the dryseason.

Although, again with the entrance in a place of nature of 100 baht,at least the place is beautiful!Although January is not the best time for waterfalls because usually do not have a lot of water, here it was not dry because it is a huge waterfall with lots of levels..anyway the best here is the natural rock slides,a big one and a couple of smaller ones! With a little caution it is an awsome experience!!!And from the moment you take the slide do not be afraid of anything..that is not dangerous!,but take care when you ARE going till there because some rocks are slippery...but nothing TOO extreme..Definately go if you like sports and adventure!

Beautiful waterfall. Open during covid, at least the gate was and there were other people there. Couldn’t really compare to anything else because of closures but, nice if you need something to do. Lots of ants and bugs so be prepared with bug spray. Slippery so wear grippy shoes. And water levels low so don’t use it as a natural water slide. Kinda sketchy

Entrance fee of 100bht for what was freely accessible until 2021. Pai is changing fast and out of my opinion not for the better.

Hi! I can't remember the name but it's just about 1 km before the waterfall overlooking a nice view. It says "Free wifi" outside :p Hope you find it and enjoy a shake or a meal.
