it takes 30-ish minutes to walk/hike from Mae Haad pier to here. Need to pass some resorts and bungalows first. The beach is small, basically just the same as the picture. This beach is more quiet compared to others. Don't come when it is hide-tide, there is no place to sit, everything is covered by water. Easy and large area for... More

If you fancy a long walk from Sairee Beach, then you will find Sai Nuan Beach. We loved this side of the island, as Sairee, where we are staying seems a bit more full on. Its much more Thai along here, with all the little stalls and shops you can walk through to get there. get to the beach and... More

Have visited many beaches during our week stay in Ko Tao, the best in my list next to Nang Yuan island. Secluded tiny, it gives you the feel of a private beach. Very calm Crystal clear water, lots of beautiful fishes, perfect place for snorkel ! Can't wait to go back !! PS/ easier to get there with a bike

This is a lovely small beach, inaccessible directly by road. Unfortunately now there are many boats taking day trippers to the beach and when I last went it was quite busy. There is a reef off the beach that makes it a nice place to snorkel but mind the boats. Walk over to Banana Rock Bar for better snorkelling in... More

We went there a couple of times to snorkel. The water were perfectly clear, and there was an abundance of many different colorful fish coming that you can see coming up to you even before you go into the water. Quiet and lovely, had a great time.

Definitely worth the extra hike to get away from the crowds and to this hidden gem. The posted signs on the way are fairly inconsistent with regard to how many minutes it takes to get there, but in all it's about a mile of walking from the main part of Koh Tao, I estimate. It was the best snorkeling I've... More

Ok, it's not easy to get here, but once you do: WOW! Decent snorkeling and outstanding views of the tropical forest behind the shore and the sea ahead of it. Probably the best views I whitenessed in Tao, definitely worth the bumpy ride and the bit you'll have to walk as the road at the end isn't good for scooters.

Really pretty and secluded beach, lovely view and much nicer than sairee beach were we staying.. There were rocks that some people were cliff diving from (about 15 meters high), great for snorkelling, loads of fish and coral. I'd recommend taking or hiring water shoes as the coral started within 10 meters of the sea and could be painful if... More
