Went for an early morning dive with Koh Tao Divers. The price was fantastic for two dives, and the dive guide was really funny and friendly. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name, but he is Finnish, and was fantastic! The visibility wasn’t great - about 2/3m - but not a problem. Nothing they could do about that and the dive was still brilliant. Plenty of coral and fish species to see despite the visibility.
Koh Tao Divers is fantastic and I would recommend highly to anyone, either for a couple of fun dives or for diving courses on offer. Their staff are lovely and welcoming!

Here's another 5 stars rating for koh tao divers !
I'd like to underline the great work Kevin Powers did (i git my open water and advanced open water with him). He was really fun and made us feel really comfortable underwater.
He was really pro even during the briefing before the dive, always showing you the dive site on a map, what you might see, where you might go according to what the current is like when you reach the dive site...
Plus, it is a lot more pleasant to dive directly in the reef in front of the shop rather than in a pool even for the first dives.
Would totally recommend going to koh tao divers !

I spent two weeks of diving and training with KTD Malta. Crystal clear waters, beautiful wrecks and some of the dives easily made it to my top 5 dives ever! I did my X-over to SF2 eCCR with SSI, and it's safe to say I am well, truly and utterly in love with my new silent, beautiful unit. It's easy to breath, beautifully streamlined, and throws you in the right position in the water.
As always, whether in Thailand or Malta, KTD crew are friendly, flexible, efficient and reliable. A massive thanks to KTD Malta for making all of this possible. Special thanks to Mikko and Krista for being incredibly helpful in ordering the unit and a million extra bits and pieces I wanted/ needed, top notch instructing in and out of the water, for being patient and accommodating beyond belief when sorting everything out between four different countries, for being 100% safe and knowledgeable all the time, and most importantly for some EPIC diving and epic times! 😍 Simply the best of the best, in Europe and in Asia, thank you! 🙏💕

My fiancé and I did the open water course with Mika last week. The whole experience could not have been any better. Mika made us all feel very safe and taken care for. Any nervousness felt prior to the course vanished already on our first day theory class. The instructors go through everything you need to know extremely thoroughly.
We repeated different skills (taking off the mask underwater, regulator off etc.) so many times I now could not be less scared of any of these mishaps happening in the future. And mostly, we were having so much fun we were laughing on our every dive.
I sincerely recommend Koh Tao Divers to anyone who is interested in diving, learning from the very start or more advanced, or just for fun dives. The whole place has a very professional yet chill vibe. They do an amazing selection of different courses, surely something for anyone. Will definitely be back!

We had only planned to stay on Koh Tao a few days for our Open Water divers course. Two weeks later we are gleefully looking back at three diving certifications (Open Water Divers, Advanced Adventurer und Enriched Air Nitrox Lv. 2 - YAY!). We experienced that a bubbly slogan can come true: „Diving sucks you into a different world.“ - but more than that: it connects, calms and changes you. Everyday we noticed, how lucky we were to have decided on Koh Toh Divers. It is a basecamp for adventurers, a safe haven full of idiosyncratic explorers and experts. With Mika we had an incredible dive instructor who made us laugh constantly with his witty comments, opened our hearts to the underwater world and the wisdoms it teaches about life (as simple as it sounds: go slowly, don’t forget to breathe, balance your buoyancy). My absolute highlight was the night dive: luminescent plankton lit up the dark waters in front of us, shrimps that sped through the water as if they were peddling on high wheel cycles, and a squid that cheekily catapulted away from us leaving only an ink trail. It is a bit painful how these experiences turn into memories as we depart - but these are bound to stay forever.

Pros:
Kind and smiling divemaster Parn. Small groups 1:4.
Cons:
The boat could really need an all-over renovation. Some of the diving equipment is in good condition, others are in poor condition. We were sad that the dives only lasted 39 and 42 min. We finished both dives at 100 bar (even though we started with between 180-190 bar).
Now we have tried two different diving centers in Koh Tao, and compared to other places (both here in Thailand and in other countries) we have dived, it feels like a busy business and the goal is to get as many divers as possible through per day, instead of personal and unique diving experiences. We miss hospitality, warmth and sincere passion. The price may also reflect that - it is relatively cheap to dive in Koh Tao. However, we are happy to pay more for a better and more memorable experience.

Great place to learn to scuba diving, I did refresh diving with – instructor Mika L. and advance diving with - instructor Lasi L. were great – patient and clearly explained what to do and when. The whole place has a family welcoming vibe, very chill but also very safe and good equipment. Would highly recommend this place “Koh Tao Divers” (KTD) for anyone learning to scuba or looking to scuba. Thanks for everything!

There are 75 dive operators on Koh Tao, so it was just plain luck that I ended up at Kho Tao Divers. And very good luck it was! I dived for five days, morning and afternoon, a total of 20 dives. Each one was well briefed and expertly led. Mostly, I dived with Martin, whose laid back style disguises a very deep knowledge and expertise. My other guides, whose names I'm afraid I would butcher, were excellent as well. While the other divers on the boat tended to be highly skilled, on one of my dives there was a new Open Water diver doing his first fun dive, and he received all the attention and assistance he needed. No detail is overlooked. If I come back to Koh Tao, there is only one shop I will dive with. Koh Tao Divers is for me!

Having had a principle of never visiting the same place twice as long as there are new places to visit for many winters now, Koh Tao Divers made us do an exception. We ended up spending a month with them in 2019 and 2020, doing courses and fun dives, and generally just hanging around and spending time with the awesome crew. And now we are going to visit again this march.
From Mikko and Ivan, whom both are pretty much legends by now, the professionalism and patience of Pasi, to the allround awesomeness and friendliness of Ploy. And last but not least Krista, who went above and beyond to help us find a special accommodation for us, and then again helped us reschedule said accommodation when the everchanging rules of entry made us postpone our holiday from january to march.
As lovely as Koh Tao is, it's Koh Tao Divers that seems to make us break our original principle time and time again. Do yourself a favor: Go dive with KTD.

The staff at Koh Tao Divers are not just friendly; they are like the best dive buddies you could ask for – always ready to guide you through the currents with a perfect mix of professionalism and fun.
Their dive briefings were as clear as the waters around the island, and the instructors had a knack for making even the most complex diving concepts as easy to understand as counting your bubbles. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or just getting your fins wet, they tailor each experience to fit your skill level perfectly.
