"Great view of sunset”

Great view sunset and place. Very basic meditation center. The elephant trekking was a great fun and feeding them.

I did the 10-day Vippasana course here. Basic amenities but in working condition (also gives you the experience of how Thais live in the village! pretty authentic!), beautiful scenery at the viewpoint, peaceful atmosphere, and the teacher + volunteers did a great job of running the course. Food was excellent. If anyone is thinking of doing a course here, the... More

Elephant trekking was a great fun. Animals are very gracious and soft in their movements. Fun to feed them

Not a great deal to look at once youre there but its a nice little walk. Would definitely recommend going up on an evening to watch the sunset. Follow the signs for the viewpoint and you find some stairs leading to a rock that overlooks Ban Tai. A great view and vert little effort required getting there!

This is a very old Wat that is beautifully refurbished. I visited on my birthday and received a nice blessing from the monks.

Be sure to drive up here for a truly stunning sunset. There's a huge rock to sit on that overlooks the jungle/village and a huge expanse of water. Sit in silence and enjoy the serenity. Come earlier in the day to stroll the leafy grounds and see the temples. Just be aware that from the 10th-20th every month there is... More
