Found this beautiful spot by chance when we were exploring on our scooters..went to check out Than Sadet waterfalls, which turned out to be a little disappointing. However we continued on down the road till it ended & ended up here!! Such a nice small beach set in a cove, uncrowded, secluded & peaceful & hardly any motorboats in the... More

Sheltered beach, mostly sand or very soft shingle. Generally very quiet. New road just completed, cars and bikes usually stopped by forest rangers in car park leaving a five minute walk to beach, but this is a big plus as no noise from scooters!! Surprisingly good restaurant for such a small beach. A number of deserted houses are close by... More

Hat Sadet is a nice beach. Quite and tranquil. But not all that special. The resort we saw looked rather outdated and abandoned. But turned out that it was still operational with paying guests inside. Definitely a budget option when you're backpacking. Quite isolated, though.

Extremely beautiful beach, with a good bottom. Nice restaurant with probably the best pad thai in entire island. Also you can watch varanus from the canal terrace.

This beach is sheltered with fine sand and clear water. There is a great new road to this beach which makes it ideal for a day trip. The road has nice parking near waterfalls too. We visited in shoulder season so it was relaxed but all could change in high. There are 1 or 2 restaurant options but they look... More

This was our favorite beach on the island. One day, when it was windy there were some waves (but you can't surf!) that we really enjoyed. Maybe a bit too much if you have small kids. The other times we went there the water was as calm as the other beaches on the island. What we liked so much about... More

I've just visited this beach and it has an awesome vibe to it. It's easy to reach with a new road. The beach is one of the few beaches on the island that gets deep relatively fast. Be sure to check out the massive lizards in the back in a river. When you arrive and face the sea go to... More
