A long refreshing walk to the observatory filled with conifers and flowers. In the observatory there is a huge tree table which is smooth and shiny. the main attraction is telescope which in which you can see the sun but if it is cloudy you are can't see the sun . Unfortunately most of the the it is cloudy

Very disappointing, as entire area is restricted for the tourist and you can only visit the museum, and that's too is not so great.

This is so called Observatory, but its foggy most of time. Best time to visit if you really want to use the venue as observatory is noon time. We could use it for a good landscape and photography only as it was very foggy in morning.

It is good place to visit in morning when the sky is clear but generally in Kodaikanal it foggy and cloudy in monsoon months. Nice place to visit though it is not popular.
