There is quite a decent collection of preserved animals and birds in this museum besides artecrafts and items belonging to the local tribal populace of the past. Found it to more informative and engaging than the other wax Museum in the hill station

Really a worth museum to visit. Don't miss it. Looks as if real animals and birds and reptiles are stored in glass-fronted boxes.

All the exhibits are real as per the manager. And indeed, they are. Right from birds, tools and even snakes, they have preserved everything very nicely.

This museum houses the collection of a single missionary who spent years in this place spreading the message of God. Their butterfly collection is worth looking at. It is not obvious how he could collect whale heads so far from the Sea.
