The "chitra shala" has an excellent in situ collection of Bundi paintings done in the typical miniature style. They depict so many aspects of the life of the royalty of those times.

Inside the taragarh fort is this beautiful chitrashala which has well kept turquoise paintings, perfect backdrop for a perfect photo click. One needs to get the ticket (Rs.80 Indians) from the fort entrance and climb around 500 mtrs to reach this place.

The museum in protected by Archaeological division of the govt of India. The museum is at the Zanana section, which you can clearly understand with the help of the wall paintings. The paintings are well preserved, it depicts many local and mythological tales.

This is worth a visit if you have a guide to give you all the information about it. The gardes are small but still well groomed.
