This temple has been constructed by taking theme from Golden temple itself. This is little known in Amritsar, but a must visit place if you have spare time.

This is a whole complex of various temples. Main being the laxmi narayan temple on one side and the aadi hanumanji mandir on the other side. Supposedly Luv Kush had tied Hanumanji to the tree at that place. Even though the complex has similarities with Harmandir Sahib, it can be a bit underwhelming

This temple looks similar to golden temple from outside, but very different from inside. There are idols of Ram, Krishna, and Shankar here. There is a separate temple with many idols of Durga goddess, which is why the temple might be named Durgiana temple. The dome and walls of temple from inside are beautifully decorated. There were some school girls... More

Durgiana temple has an interesting story.. The Hanuman mandir inside the temple is quite famous for granting boons for male child.. Would be parents who wish to have a male child worship here and make a promise to the god to bring the child decked as monkey god. Some interesting aspects of the fasting period include visiting the temple 7... More

The Durgiana temple is a replica of the Golden temple and located about 10 mins from the Golden temple. Worth a visit while in Amritsar. The temple also has a water tank with the temple located at the center.
