The pre parade starts around 5..main parade starts at 5:30 pm. reach at least by 3:30 as there are huge crowds and there may not be seating for all especially during weekends. Carry caps as it is very hot. No bags allowed

It is bit of a risk carrying your things around to waggah. There are shops on the way that would check-in your bags on your risk. So it is not advised to carry your luggage to the border.
