You can very well reach the gates during other timings also but the real charm is not in the gates.The parade and the patriotic atmosphere are the real highlight. So plan for them if possible and it is worth it. Jaihind.
How do I reach wagha border from amristar? P.S. By what means of transport n return to amristar again in a day back??? Do we need pre booking to attend ceremony in the evening??.

Best transportation is private vehicle Innova type & if you want VIP sitting you have to get passes from BSF you have to reach by 4

No. If you need vip seats you have to go to collect pass from gate number 3 of bsf early in the morning
