Hire a guide and go for an early morning stroll through the hills. The endless rolling greenery is beautiful, especially first thing when the mist is still rising. You can get up close to pickers and see them at work. Bit of a climb but the views at the top were definitely worth it. Make sure you have a cuppa... More

I grow up watching only DD1. And there were several program showing Tea Gardens from all over the India. They look awesome in TV. I belong to Bihar so I had to travel to some tea estate to watch it. I decided to go to Munnar for the same as it was serving multiple purpose for me. And seeing those... More

Went to tea gardens and it was awesome . Even with the windows open one can sniff the fragrance of tea all over the place. It seems truly amazing and the tea plantation seems very lush green and soothing

This cannot be missed. Mostly because it's physically impossible to miss the tea gardens - they are literally everywhere. For the best (i.e. non touristy!) experience, rent a motorbike for a few pounds and go off exploring. I had the best three days racing around Munnar on a sports bike. If biking isn't your cup of tea, rent a tuk... More

place is full with tea plantation u click photoes with the nature in plantation ... nice hill views nothing more to describe...just green layer above very big land ...

Have visited several Indian tea gardensbut these were by far the most well managed terraces i have encountered. Fascinating to visit the Tata plant which is part owned by the workers and the tour is most informative.
