This was not the first SwamiNarayan Temple I visited, but it was amazing ! Very, very clean and parking was available. The carved pillars and domes took my breath away. Even the marble flours had mughal type patterns of flowers, birds and leaves. We saw the big Ganesh Idol on the left wearing a sweater. That was a first !... More

A beautiful, dense array of scuptures on every surface. I suspect that most of this is new, post-earthquake work but it is a splendid place. Some areas are out of bounds to women, and one or two officious chaps seem to want to rope off various sections, but I assume this is because its a working temple.

The temple is amazingly built and is segregated by males and females. The views to the outskirts of the city are worth while the wait for both sun rise and set.

1km from the bus station bhuj is a grand white marble temple with intricate carvings. No one can imagine such a beautiful temple in the mid of Bhuj. Visit only at night (after 6pm) to get the best view. There are limited free dinner coupons that are available for outside visitors only (Very tasty dinner- 7-8:30 pm only)

This was one of the first places we visited on our roadtrip, and it was a bit of a baptism of fire for us with the whole "selfie" phenomenon. Even before we had set foot in the temple, a bus full of school kids unloaded and wanted to shake our hand, practice their English and take photos with a white... More

Its a famous temple, provides good food, and is in middle of the city. So expect a lot of people all the time. But otherwise the best time to visit it at night because the lighting makes it so much more beautiful. The carvings and symmetry of the place is so beautiful.

Fully built in marble a marvellous place. One need not be religiously oriented to enjoy this place. On the day I went there was not much rush. but I am told that there will be great rush sometimes But one can spend few hours there in peace
