I loved the aqua class, it is Soooo much fun! Being in the water is really the only way to exercise here in the summer and be cool. Michele is lovely and encouraging and so knowledgeable.

I came across Julie's class by accident and I am SO happy I did! I had brought my mat to Roatan unsure whether I would find a place to practice or if I would have time to practice, dives keeping me busy! Julie teaches vinyasa classes but has also studied many other types of yoga. She has a very gentle yet knowledgeable approach. The first class I took was on the Beach House hotel dock from 8h-9h, Tuesday and Thursday. The 2nd and 3rd class (because yes, I really liked it!) were on the Splash Inn dock, from 7h-8h, Monday-Wednesday-Friday (which gives you ample time to come back to the dive shop on time to go on the morning dive). I loved every minute of my practice with Julie. It gave me the opportunity to connect with my breath while listening to the ocean. A truly wonderful experience! I hope I'll one day be able to take one of Julie's class again!

I’m new to yoga. A private class with Julie was a great way to start. I look forward to more classes!

I have been down to Roatan now for the past 4 years. Love it there. I took a Aqua class with Michele and it was awesome, really enjoyed it and it was a great work out with a lot of different moves, didn't realize how much fun it is to do a work out in a pool. I've also taken Yoga classes with Michele and I found her to be very aware of peoples needs during the class as I have a bad back and knees. Her classes are amazing. So knowledgeable on all different kinds of Yoga and also you can understand all her moves and everything just flows. I've taken classes from other instructors and found them to be hard to understand, not flowing moves so classes were not enjoyable. I highly recommend you take one of Micheles Yoga or Aqua classes as I know you'll enjoy them as did.

Michele instructs the Aqua Move class at the Lawson Rock pool in Sandy Bay and brings fun, energy and motivation to every class. This isn't some boring-old-school-walk-around-in-the-pool water aerobics class. It's a complete body workout that uses a mix of cardio, strength training, yoga and even dance. However, the pool makes it low impact and Michele accommodates for all skill levels and any injuries you may have. The scenery is beautiful, the pool is a cool and refreshing way to start your day, Michele usually has a great playlist and you can get some sun while you're at it! There's no need to prepay or commit to a certain number of classes (although you'll want to keep going). You pay as you go and the rate is very affordable so whether you're a visitor or local, you can join a class anytime (Wed or Sat). I would suggest a one piece suit for less 'shifting' and more comfort. The hour long class goes very fast and you leave feeling oddly energized and relaxed at the same time.
