5 stars because it is what it is. All that is left standing are the walls giving a fantastic view over the surrounding country. Certainly worth the uphill walk from Ohrid town, there are a few places to catch your breath with a coffee. Not...More

When I go to a thing called a museum I am expexting to get to know smth about the place. But no, not here. I wouldn't even call it a museum since they did nothing more than to put in a ticket office there and...More

It was a rainy and cold day at the end of March but still the visit was worth it. You get an impression of how this little town once was "the center of the world". The old town around it is also extremely nice with...More

The view from the towers is great - you can see a 360 panorama of Ohrid. There isn't anything else to see in the castle itself, but a number of stunning views justified the entry fee.

It's a pretty small fortress, there's not really a great deal to see, but I still enjoyed walking along the stone walls and looking out across the town and the lake. Entrance fee is very cheap so it's definitely worth a visit.

The place is nice but you’ll get extra charged if you are a foreigner because why not. The view is nice though there’s some church construction going on nearby that destroyed the roman ruins (criminal thinking imo). Decent panorama tho but zero effort to attract...More

This was a really interesting site with a long history, however there is not 1 sign to tell you any information which is a real shame. The views are lovely and it's easy to find. I would like to see money being spent on this...More
