This is a beautiful lake, We stayed at the Lac Kivu Lodge and at Tchegera Island Camp, both places were beautiful and the food was excellent. At Tchegera Island Camp you can swim in the lake and Kajak. Really worth the visit.

Enjoy the wonderful landscape by sitting on its shore. Breathtaking and relaxing spot. I never actually swum in the Lake but many people I know who did it who caught skin or lung diseases.
