This is a reminder of the war, within recent history, and the genocide that took place here. not so very long ago. It is being restored. vukovar is still trying to recover.

The water tower is a must-see for anyone who's coming to Vukovar. The place has been left as a monument in the exact state in which the war left it, but its history is much older than the war.
