Unfortunately, the castle had already closed on the afternoon we spent in Varazdin, so we were unable to have a look inside. The outside is stunning, however. We enjoyed wandering around the encircling green space snapping photos and taking in the lovely views.

Castle is a complex of Old town in Varazdin. Surrounded with beautiful nature and chain bridge. Working time of the museum is 9-17h.

An excellent stopping point when traveling on the roads of Croatia on the way to Hungary. Is a small village known for its castle and central square. An exquisite landscape! Castle very well kept, the interior has paid entrance!

It is nice place to visit in Varaždin, just next to sqare, during Špancirfest there you can find many concerts and live music :) inside it there is great museum and part of hustory :)

The castle is great and the museum offers great content. The walk around the castle is nice, but when you come behind the castle, you see bad things. Underage kids drinking and graffiti everywhere. I think they should do something about that, but everything else...More
