The views are great despite it is not a high fortress. A pity it is almost empty inside, and another pity is that right behind it there is a football field, not the best place in my opinion. Anyway, I recommend to go there when...More

Quite small, little to do inside the actual fortress. Admission was cheap. Definitely worth climbing to the top of the fortress for the prettiest views.

I guess others are more fussy, or perhaps less appreciative than I, for this Fort is well worth seeing, and was for me a highlight of my visit to the town. It wasn't used for Game of Thrones, but I can see that it could...More

Built in 1420 by the Venetians, this castle is a must see when visiting the thriving town of Trogir. Apparently there are musical and other types of performances that are held here in the summer months, that would be spectacular within the walls of this...More

Literally a tiny ruin of a fortress. You are paying for a modest view of Trogir. If you have already been to Dubrovnik, Split and other places this will be a major disappointment. If Trogir is the ONLY place you plan to visit, the admission...More

Takes 10 minutes if you want to prolong the agony. Walk into an old ruin with plastic chairs tossed all over the main big entrance. Mens toilet didn't work. Total waste.

Pretty interesting fortress along the water in Trogir, I didn't go it, but enjoyed seeing it. That is St. Macs tower behind in the picture

It's worth the small entrance fee c£3 just to climb up to the top of the main turret to get a superb panoramic view of Trogir and the surrounding landscape. It's a reasonable climb which might not suit everybody but worth the effort. The walk...More

On the end of the peninsula, you will find this stone gem. Great place to visit and soak up the local heritage. Tours are available and the view of the top is excellent. Must visit when in Trogir.

This can be seen quite quickly and has great views of the town and surroundings. Be sure to get the background information when you enter.

Thanks, pondga. I did manage to visit and loved both it and the town! I think my next trip to Croatia will be based in Trogir. Hope you enjoyed it, too!
