After reviewing all the possible options we decided to drive to Fazana and catch the national parks own boat, this cost around £200 kns per person and included a guided tour on arrival. Fazana was a pretty little port with ovely views and some restaurants....More

We took at trip through our Hotel to Brijuni Islands, The trip was overpriced in my opinion. We were told there was a Zoo, Turned out to be a couple of Zebras, Donkeys, and a few deer, The Elephant was a no show, and the...More

Went for a visit around the island with small train tour. Nature very idyllic and relaxing but facilities need renovation. Ugly hotel, couple of abandoned houses and a poor ZOO are not in a good relation to perfect nature that island has to offer.

Great place for a day trip. The 1 hour 'train' tour gives you a taste of the island but much better to hire bicycles and pedal around the 40 odd kilometre of paths to see all the sights the tour doesn't take you to and...More

If you are leaving from Rovinj, make sure you get on a tour that will let you get off on the actual main island where the zoo is and the museum. It's lovely. There are very old olive trees there that are gorgeous. You take...More

I normally don't do organised group excursions... all that standing about with people you don't want to be with. However my wife and I made an exception recently when in Croatia to visit the island. All in all, well worth doing. The trip was very...More

To visit the main island you have to go to Fazana and get a boat (and pay 220 Kuna per person) - after reading the reviews on here we decided it want worth the effort and instead took a "fish picnic" boat trip around the...More

We were quite excited about this trip as we have been to numerous islands up and down the coast of Croatia and enjoyed every one of them. Generally speaking reviews were good for the Brijuni Islands, with the history, the zoo, and the general scenery....More

Not sure, no one had bikes on that boat that day we went there. Still, there is lot of space on the ferry so I don't see why not.
