Walking through this charming little town is so relaxing and a good workout too. Everywhere you turn is a step back in time or a view of the water. The huge church on top of the hill is well work the walk uphill. Excellent restaurants too.

Lovely cobblestone streets, cute little shops, nice selection of fresh seafood restaurants, lovely harbor views, in short, everything an old Venetian town on the Croatian coast should have.

take a walk from the harbour through the Roman gate in the square or down by the harbour market and up through the narrow cobbled streets up to St Euphemia church. take good shoes, as the cobbles are uneven and slippery- lethal if it has been raining ! The walk is worth it though- we always have a drink at... More

We spent about a week in this little town, during a month-long tour of Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Rovinj was walkable with excellent restaurants. We stayed in an Airbnb with a view of the sea. There were a lot of tourists, but that didn't take away from the charm of the town.

Conveniently placed middle distance inside the Istria Peninsula, Rovinj is a place out of movies... well, maybe this is why it was the place for shooting a James Bond Heineken commercial. It is like the inhabitants knew, over centuries that digital photography was going to arrive and they built the picture perfect city. The old town is built on a... More

as in several other cities located on the mediterranean coast, the old town resembles history, with old churches and cobbled streets. one walks narrow streets between rows of colorful facades, views of the sea through gaps in between buildings, and a touch of greenery.

A world's attraction. You should come there when the sun starts to fall down and enjoy with coctail in your hand.

Had a wonderful lunch and needed something from a store that was closed...the employees of the restaurant called the owner of the store to come open for me.

Picturesque medieval fisherman city. In ancient time it was city on an island. Today it is peninsula. Some buildings are even from 14 century. Very charming city
