Golden Cape (Zlatni rt/Punta corrente), Kurent Bay and Montauro Cape are located around 1.5 km away from the town-center, south of the ACI Marina and Lone Bay.The coast is mostly rocky. There are a few beaches covered with small round stones, and Kurent Bay, the most visited beach in this area, covered with gravel. Kurent Cape is on the eastern side (see map). The beaches are rocky and the access to the sea is not easy. At Kurent Cape you will also find a pier where you can temporarily tie your boat and there is also a small gravel-covered bay.

Cool place, We went biking through the park along the coastal trails, great place to relax and enjoy the view any time of the year. You can either walk or ride, seen few people picnic at the beach and rock climbing at one of the taller rocks right at the beach.

We toured the Punta Corrente on our Segway tour of Rovinj and enjoyed it very much. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

yes, there's the port. yes, there's the old town. yes, there's the sea. but beyond all of these attractions, the part that really stands out is the Punta Corrente, a hidden gem. we were staying at Hotel Lone, so taking a walk here was a no brainer. and we did go for a walk thinking it might be a nicely... Large natural area near Rovinj, around 15 minutes from old city - by foot. Great place for running, walking, relaxing, swimming, biking, rock climbing (in antic age it was one of the biggest quarry in Istra). There are some really nice beaches.

Punta corrente is a beautiful park placed on peninsula. Park was created in Austro Hungarian empire as a start of tourism in Rovinj. Must see when you are around

Well worth a couple of hours walk if you have the time. Follows the coast south of Rovinj. Plenty of spots for good photos and views of the islands. Well signposted and fairly flat in most areas. Do all or just part of the walk. See the locals out walking the dog or cycling.

A most popular tour for nice foodwalking tours for two hours or more, and also bike ride tours, you can hire boats; many nice paths, nice trees and flowers and superb views; for a relaxing afternoon in the nature.
