This is a worthwhile visi and whilst the climb to the top of the bell tower is taxing. It is worth it, the views are stunning.

Great cultural break from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. Some impressive (and ancient - over 1000 years old) mosaics and religious artefacts. If you have any interest in history then this is well worth a visit.

Always love to go and visit a place of worship when I'm away on holiday and I wasn't disappointed by the Euphrasius Basilica. Very beautiful, peaceful and spiritual.

Only visited the church, where a rosary service was being held, so sat at the back. Very atmospheric, what with the building being used for its true purpose! The area around the altar has some very impressive mosaics on the walls and ceiling
