One reproach: the organization of on-site personnel creates confusion regarding born of routes that can be crossed in terms of departure and stops of auto-trains which carry on the tourists.
Simply breathtaking, extremely well organised. There are many suggested paths from 2 to 8 hours and all of them are beautiful; just make sure you don't miss the falls, so take at least the 4 hours walking tour. Internal transportation by ferry or electric train...More

Hi! I have not had this exact experience but in buscroatia you can find much information, timetable included. The bus from Plitvička Jezera to Split pass through the cities of Šibenik and Zadar (depending on the route) or maybe direct sometimes. The road is about 250-300 km. Average length of travel according to the timetable is 06 hours and 20 mins. Price between approx 120-170 HRK. I think they must let you carry your luggage on, but probably you should pay per bag on all departures depending on the carrier.
Buses from Plitvice to Split offer fast and efficient transport at an affordable price. There is no bus station in Plitvice. Instead, there are two bus stops on the main road (Entrance 1 and entrance 2) passing by the national park Plitvice lakes. Despite the fact that there is no bus station, Plitvice lakes have a wardrobe where you can leave your luggage.
About the train, nearest station in Vrhovine, 43 Km from Plitvice; consequently, the trip becomes more difficult and more expensive. The bus seems more advisable.
I hope to have been helpful.
