Wonderful hilltop town, full of artist shops around every corner. Glass work, craftwork, pottery and jewellery abound in this little town. The town is extremely quaint, with incredible views on every side. A few good restaurants, and an outside patio tavern where you can sit...More

Not too many tourists at the time we visited, even still in peak tourist season. Small shops and cafeterias. And a beautiful view!

Groznjan is magical place but has its secrets. In winter is almost empty, in summer often overcrowded. Spring is best and sunny autumn or winter days too. Try to avoid coming in group particularly in season. Stay few nights whenever and make effort to tune...More

Hiya! DEFINITELY Groznjan if you have mobility issues! There is a parking area close by, and as voler mentions, relatively flat in the village area itself. Motovun requires you to park at the bottom of a very steep hill, so... More

We ate at Restaurant Rondo in Buje before visiting Groznjan. We can thoroughly recommend Rondo for great pizza and the Istrian meat and cheese starter platter
