The show was the story of the ancient tea trade on horses, directed by the famous Chinese Director Zhang Yi Mou. The actors and props were impressive, against the backdrop of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (on a clear day). Actors would also sing and drum among the audiences, making the performance more inclusive and moving. However, at the end... More

A great show performance in unique outdoor scenario. You seat in an outdoor theatre with a huge stage in front and the majestic Jade Dragon Snow mountain as background, just priceless. Stated that all the performers from the various minorities tribes in Yunnan. The show was a amazing sight. Beware that in sunny days the sunlight is very strong and is... More

Open air show under blue skies and sunshine with an excellent view of the Jade Dragon Snowy Mountain. Even if you do not completely follow what each scene is depicting, you will still enjoy the ambience, the passion and the energy put in by the performers. (To understand better, read the English translations on the signboards.)

This is an unique experience not to be missed. You are seated in an outdoor theatre with a huge stage infront of the majestic Yue Long Xue Shan / snow mountain. All the performers are farmers from the various tribes in Yunam. There are 2 screens explaining the various acts and the culture and beliefs behind it. Fortunately for us,... More

This is amazing and not to be missed is visiting Lijiang. Tip: be prepared for rain with raincoats. The show goes on rain or shine.

We watched the show with high expectations and it barely meets because of lack of choreography and collosal quality of zimou production. Worse is the hot sun and temperature during the one and half hour show starting at 12 30 noon make your head dizzy and body tired.

We tried to make to the 14:00 show, but we arrived too late. So we took the chance of being in the park to visit (paid CNY 130 JUST TO ENTER THE PARK - if you want to go to the sightseeings you have to pay another CNY 20 for a bus transportation or CNY 55 for a cable car).... More

We watched the show on the 27th August 2016 around 1230pm. It was the bad time as the sun was fueling hot while we sat in the open air. Some audience use the umbrella and blocked the views of others behind. No consideration! The guards also did not bother. Entrance fees is expensive but is worth. The show is so... More

We payed 248¥ for the show plus 130¥ to enter the park in which the show took place (that also contains the Blue moon valley and view to the Yulong mountain). It was very expensive but interesting. We couldn't visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain because it was fully booked until the next week.

Directed by zhang yimou, this is an outdoor amphitheatre showcasing the various cultures of the region. Some singing and dancing, plus some horses and comedy thrown in. It's alright and i wasn't spellbound. And because it's outdoor in high altitude, you either get burnt or wet or both Not as good as the west lake one in my opinion
