Large monotonous lake front. If you want to get near the water you will have to buy a ticket to some thing. Usually costing 90 yuan or more.

We took a boat across the lake to a small island. The mountain backdrop adds to the experience but the disappointing fact is that similar to the rest of China high rise apartments are starting to appear thereby detracting from its attraction.

A must see the lake is very calming and you can take a boat for small sum or walk around. Go in morning mist makes it nice

Here you can enjoy amazing views... I did it twice already and I suggest to rent the E-bike(easy and possible to find these electric scooter in many of the rental shops in Dali old Town)to go around the lake and visit all these amazing farmers...More
