The old street

It is very close to the Palkor Monastery and you should visit it. The vies to the castle is amazing.

We took a walk through this street after the Monastery. It's a nice street and has some scenic views, and also you can see animals (cows, sheep and dogs) see there. But it is not too special.

Vendors bustling with bitter and prayer flags, typically for worshipping in the monastery. Hard to find anything else.

The Gyangze old town is really charming and authentic. Quite clean, too, despite cattle being kept in front of residents houses here and there

This is so lovely to see. There is some talk of modernising this area, I hope not it is wonderful to see how the Tibetans have lived for many years. Well worth visiting
