Amazing to think how long this temple had been there . Our guide was really informative about all the aspects of the buildings . Great to just sit and think , to take some time out .

The temple size is impressive. Some of the buildings itself are also grand, but most of them are in bad condition. And it feels a bit repetitive quickly. There are better temples to visit in China.

It is a sacred place for people who believe in Confucianism. It has rich history and culture and a tranquil environment. I wouldn't recommend the temple to average tourists, as it is not a "fun" site.

Great morning out at the Confucious Temple. Lots of information plaques and shared areas for when it got too hot. Some small shops but all selling the same things. Drinks and ice cream very reasonably priced.

Highly recommend seeing this temple. Is a true monument to a great Chinese person who was poor and unrecognized until after death. The grounds are gigantic and you will need 2-3 hours just to see everything. Had a English speaking tour guide Kevin arranged through...More

Of the three Confucian sights of Qufu, the Temple is the grandest and most worthwhile. There is so much interesting stonework and artwork in and on the various buildings. I'd never seen the "3D" columns before. The Dacheng building, the biggest in the complex is...More
