Just the history alone is worth the visit. The Museum has a tremendous layout and worth the time. The view from Vulcan is best in later evening hours but even in the day time it is spectacular. I highly recommend to anyone whom is new...More

Make sure to go to the top of the tower to enjoy the view overlooking Birmingham. You can take the elevator or climb the approximately 150-200 stairs to the top. A word of warning though. The floor on the deck on top the tower is...More

I would suggest going in the autumn to get a great view of the entire city and also get a great view of the autumn colors. Take your time to go into the museum and learn some of the history of Birmingham.

Although you can't really see the statue when you're in the park, there are spectacular views of Birmingham from the hilltop and from the top of the statue. We also really enjoyed the museum talking of the history of Birmingham, centered on the growth of...More

We decided to check out this park and museum on a whim. I found it to be impressive and informative. You get a great view of the city - disclaimer though: when you get up to the statue, the walkway around the base of the...More

Perfect little stop to walk around the park, visit the statue and perfect view of the city. Great for walking the dogs or a little outdoor time with the kids. Very peaceful

A nice visit on a warm winter afternoon. $6 pays for unlimited elevator rides for the day and a visit to the surprisingly professional museum.

There is no place better to be in Birmingham at sunset than at the Vulcan. In addition the great views, the Vulcan is a unique bit of Birmingham culture, so make sure to enjoy the trip!

We didn't pay to go into the museum, but you can see the Vulcan at night from around the city. It was interesting to see up close, as well.

A nice stop over to get a bird eye view of Birmingham. The ground is nice. The museum is ok (probably takes no more than 15 minutes). The top of the Tower has a great view. The floor is made of grate that can see...More
