Fun and learning never end at McWane Science Center, a nonprofit, hands-on museum and IMAX(R) Dome Theater. Four floors of interactive exhibits celebrate science and wonder - from an amazing collection of dinosaurs to innovative environmental showcases, imaginative early childhood playgrounds, and an awe-inspiring aquarium. The energy and excitement of discovery spring to life through an extensive lineup of science demonstrations performed daily by talented educators. The adventure intensifies in the IMAX(R) Dome Theater, where wide-eyed visitors experience the sights and sounds of breathtaking films on a 5-story-tall screen surrounded by 3 tons of high-intensity speakers.

A friend and I took his children several years ago. It was a wonderful day for both the children and us. Much more to see and do than I had imagined. Planning to go back as soon as I can

We've been to many Science Centers around the country and this one has a large variety of hands on activities for children of all ages. Great way to spend a rainy or hot day in AL; the kids love it and the BIG kids will find things to learns as well...if you're military there is a discount which will help... More

There is a great set up and a large variety of hands on activities. With 4 levels of fun this museum kept my 4 year old very happy! We decided to do the i max theater and the museum and they were both worth the money.

We live in Huntsville and met our family who live in Atlanta here for my oldest son's 8th birthday. We haven't visited in about 3 years, and it has improved a lot! My 14-month-old LOVED the Itty Bitty Magic City. The water area was his favorite of that exhibit. My 8-year-old enjoyed everything. There have been so many additions, and... More

We come here once a week at least. It was the best Christmas gift she has gotten. She's a year and a half so it's more than perfect for her to grow into.
