Our city is so lucky to have such a beautiful space! Railroad Park is the perfect place for lunchtime runs, family picnics, free after work work-outs, a game of frisbee, or just to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. It is my absolute favorite space...More

Railroad Park is a nice place to visit here in Birmingham. You can take a nice stroll, people watch, meet friends, attend events, and admire the beauty of the park. It is a safe place to hang out and your four-legged friends are welcomed.

This is a beautiful urban park, and if I couldn't see the sky line I wouldn't know I was in downtown Birmingham while here. We frequent this park & always enjoy our time there. The park is well maintained, beautiful & has varied activities for...More

Beautiful green space in the heart of hustle and bustle. Great area to just roam around and enjoy. Great place to watch the sun go down.

The middle of downtown Birmingham used to “no man’s land”... railroad tracks bisecting north from south. Decaying fields and abandoned buildings. Fast forward to today: it is an oasis of streams and ponds surrounded by well-manicured greenscapes. Meandering paths allow a visitor to stroll, jog,...More

This is convenient to downtown hotels, hospitals and UAB. It was very crowded, so it wasn’t as serene as I had hoped but a great place to escape the hospital and get some fresh air. But I will say, don’t let your guard down.

Hi, Aaron. It is open and dimly lit, but I would be very uneasy around there at night. There is a ballpark and great brewery right around there, so the area will be full of people, but very few will be hanging out in... More
