Railroad Park is a great place to see the Birmingham skyline, see a few trains pass, and go for a walk along the rotary trail.

We went there in a big group after whole day business meeting. So, for us, it is just strolling along and had dinner after 20 min walk. May be nice place for evening walk.
My husband and I would walk over here from the hospital regularly. It is very close to Ronald McDonald house also. It is a nice, clean and large park. People have picnics and take walks and runs around it. There is a little deli and some tables to eat at, also lots of benches to sit on. We really liked... More
This place is great for walking, taking photos, relaxing on a blanket, throwing football or frisbee, bringing pets, ....and the list goes on and on. The area of Birmingham is being well renovated by the city and by business owners, and railroad park has been a fabulous add to it all. Great views of Birmingham's beautiful skyline. Wonderful for a... More
it is across from Region's Park (Baseball Park). It has skateboard area. There is something going on all the time there.
Love what the RR park has done for Birmingham! No matter who you are, what age there is always something going on! From the yoga, to the ice rink, to the food trucks, to just relaxing and feeding the ducks, to just walking the dogs or having a family picnic. So glad Birmingham is stepping it up.
One of my favorite places in Birmingham. It isn't a large park but it has a really cool feel to it. Railroad trusses and other decor were reused from the actual railroads that used to be there. In a nicer part of Birmingham and across the street from Regions Park. I love to run and cycle through this area.
Great place for walking on paved paths, walking dogs, playing frisbee, sitting by the water or having s picnic. Great children's play features. Very scenic and the train tracks are adjacent (separated by sturdy fencing) so you can sit and watch the historic trains. My grand children love this! Usually has a concession stand open for sandwiches, snacks, sodas and... More
This park offers something for everyone. Small concrete bowls (12 feet in diameter) for kid's scooters, ice rink, great walking paths, several ponds with koi, bike rental, playgrounds. Glad we visited.
One of the best parts of the downtown revitalizations! Excellent location- near Good People Brewery & Regions Field. There are ZYP bikes here so you can scoot around town and tons of activities in the park every week.
