We hadn't realised the museum was closed on Sundays but a member off staff was present and kindly opened up just for us - thank you. We are not very knowledgeable of jazz music but still found the whole experience v interesting.

This was a real quick visit. However, there is a lot of history involved. Truly for the jazz fans!!!

The entrance fee is just $2 which is totally worth it to see Ray Charles' piano and Ella Fitzgerald's Neiman Marcus credit card) among other great things.

I lived in Birmingham for about 25 years before I even knew this place existed, just stumbled on it and had a lovely time. It's not huge and you can see everything pretty quickly. But you learn a lot about Jazz and Birmingham.

Honestly, I wouldn't ever reccommend it to anyone. I am from New Orleans, so I was excited for the museum; but I was disappointed. The venue is extremely small... pretty much just two rooms. The exhibits, while well-done, were actually quite boring. Maybe if you...More

Just a way to get someone's daughter or niece hired to be cashier. The museum will take all of 10 minutes to walk through. What a wast of time.
