Pouring with rain so asked Lee on reception at our hotel (Moondance Boutique Resort) for options of things to do. She suggested the water caves and we set off protected with raincoats and hotel umbrellas for the 10 minute walk from our hotel. Had read on Trip advisor not to get ripped off on the admission price and not to... More

So, first of all, mud cave = awesome. People are really buoyant in the mud; it's fun to play in. I would suggest skipping this activity on cold days. Second, the karst caves are limestone caves; they're really old, and super cool. Especially if you're a geology nerd.

Nice enough but nothing you haven't seen in other caves around the world. The mud experience looks quite disgusting and we skipped it. Guess that if you are able to splash in the mud you are also able to wash in the smelling showers outside th cave. The guide spoke English but we couldn't understand a word because her chinese... Noisy, kitsch, but it still made me laugh. Kids loved the mudbath! Certainly a must do when in Yangshuo

One of the several limestone caves in the area. Has seen some wear with years of visitors 'touching', and it is a little cheesy with all the coloured lights everywhere, but still worth a look. Take the time to have a mud bath and a relaxing hot spa while you're there!

Not worth the money. Not much to see. Once you've seen blue caves in Laos or bat caves in Cambodia this is just a dark hollow full of muddy water and tourists. There are many better attractions around Yangshuo.

Really? If you're young and into jumping into a "mud" bath that every other human being has been in and it probably hasn't been cleaned in forever, go ahead here!!! I was slipping and sliding through the entire cave. The tour guide had to hold my hand! It did like it because caves are just neat. You learn about the... More

This is fun! i think we all go here for the mud bath and hot spring but before you get there the guide takes you through the caves. It's a pretty good cave and you go quite deep but the guide will just point out shapes where you often have to stretch your imagination to see what they're seeing. Mud... More
