This is a definite must see and it is the reason tourists flock to Huangshan on any given day.It was packed on a weekday so imagine how crowded it would be on a holiday or even a weekend. It is by far my favorite mountain...More

Was one of the very rare ones to spend more than 1 night up in Huangshan. In fact, we spent 10 nights up there and the hotel staff were a little shell-shocked. :)The very simple reason was given the unpredictable weather up in the mountains,...More

Huangshan is many things: World Heritage Site, National Scenic Area, protected area, and a "geopark." I'm not quite sure what a "geopark" is expected to be, but I assume it has to have important geological features. This is certainly the case for Huangshan. There are...More

You feel as it you are looking at a painting. A good workout and amazing scenery. Definitely would want good footwear and perhaps spikes if there is snow.

We did have one day to visit the place. We were not lucky because it was foggy that morning. Later the visibility improved, and we could enjoy the scenery more. Lot of steps up and down. You need to be in a fair physical condition...More
