Standing there in the freezing cold at 0630 with these incredible geysers shooting their steam and sulphur high into the air a against the snow capped El Tattio mountain in the background who looks like an old man snoring away - quite spectacular.

Tatio geysers was a great site and I had a fantastic time there. If you have seen Geysers elsewhere (Iceland, Yellowstone etc) or have just completed the Uyuni tour and have seen Sol de Manana then I would not recommend this unless you have a lot of time in San Pedro. If you have limited time there are much better... More

Why wouldn't I choose Flamingo Tours: - lack of experience in running an intermediary sales point. The team lacks customer service skills and is simply immature. - They don't have secure processes to ensure you are 100% being picked up or know how to get your money back when a tour is cancelled due to weather conditions. - They don't... Long way by buss.. Pumping road, dark night, have to woke up like 4 a.m. We take the tour from desert adventure and we like it. Simon was the Best guide :) But it is all worth it. Really nice place anda views, and the sunset. Really cold up there, bring warm clothes.

The Geyser trip with Cosmo Andino starts super early, but is well worth the trip, the tour company and guide (Sebastian) took good care of us, with pickup, breakfast, and drop off provided. The excursion itself was incredible, so many Geysers to see, and a hotspring

You're totally in hands of travel company. You need to see geysers first thing in the morning but we were there before the sun was up so it was difficult to see things. As the sun came up it improved. A later start from hotel would have been better. It is cold there so early I found a thermal hat... More

It takes a long drive to get there and most tours take you by sunrise but it is really worth the trip.

I had to wake up at 4.30AM to get on to the bus that took me to the geysers. But the extra effort totally paid off when I got to see the geysers.
