My ideal of bathing has always been to lay back in a small river with hot waterfall . I could accomplish that in Puritama Termas Of course this is not the only reason to visit Atacama, but certainly the reason to go back

The thermal pools were very nice and relaxing. Just make sure whatever tour company you use will send a legit driver with a good car. We were in a mini van that stalled twice and my boyfriend had no seat belt. The driver burned the tires trying to get out of parking lot. The elevation there is about 12,000 feet... More

This was a pleasant and quite beautiful site with about 7 natural pools to hang out, you get a big discount on entrance fee after 2 pm but realise the sun is burning severely at this time.

Well I arrived here as part of a group, most of whom expressed sincere sensation of being underwhelmed here. I did swim in the 2 foot deep, luke warm pool. It was a great change from the really cold ambient temperature, but not really a benchmark experience. Be open to the experience if your tour goes there, but I suppose... More

These pools are pretty, with clear water and waterfalls. Each pool is surrounded by tall reeds, so they are very private. It is a little of a walk down and back up (especially after relaxing in the water). There are lockers in the dressing rooms, but no locks. Also, the water was not hot, just a little warm. Not a... Las Termas de Puritama are located approximately 30 min out of San Pedro. The eight natural pools are connected by waterfalls and surrounded by many plants. The water is warm and very clear. There are places to change and even stow your belongings, but you need to bring a lock with you as they are not provided. Note: entrance fee... More

Treat yourself. This is a great thermal phenomenon in the middle of the dessert at around 3 300 meters in the Andes.you can get there with your own transport. Great facilities to change . There is a lovely place to picnic. There are lockers but you need to bring your own padlock. There is a discount if you visit in... More
