Ofcourse you can drink a pisco sour in every place but there is not enough to do, only watching the beautiful stars at night.

I went to the Elqui Valley for a long weekend. From Santiago by car it takes about 5 hours to get to Coquimbo, through the 5 route and then 1 more hour to get to Pisco Elqui, located in the commune of Paihuano.
It is nice to see the contrast between dry hills and vineyards. There is so much to see and do. Pisqueras, solar kitchens, small villages, horse riding around hills, observatories...We could easily spend 1 week there, but were short of time.
