I was glad to see the penguins from a distance and not disturb their day to day lives by walking among them. The boat trip was fun, and I enjoyed the beauty of the islets on which they lived. We also saw an otter. I...More

In my opinion, this is just average as there are better places to see more penguins, seals and more birds than this. To be honest, was a bit disappointed that there isn't really that much to see on the island.

It is interesting to see the little islands and the wildlife surrounding them! Don't expect to learn much during the 30 minute boat trip if you don't speak Spanish. However, we were already told by our tour operator ChiloeViajes about this, so that was expected....More

The boat ride out to see the penguins was great. In addition to penguins, there were water birds, a sea lion, geese, cormorants. If I had it to over again, I would not go late in the day as the sun was right behind the...More

There is more to this place than just penguins although there are plenty of them in evidence. The boat trips are well organised and compulsory wearing of life jackets is reassuring in fairly rough seas. Our guide went out of his way to point out...More

We took a ferry to Chiloe for $12 000 pesos one way. That price is for the vehicle and includes 4x4's etc. The drive to where the tours start of the penguin colony was stunning. We arrived on the beach while it was drizzling and...More

Short boat ride visiting 3 little islands. After getting your ticket you get your life jacket and then head for the boats. It is all well organized with no rushing and the boats leave as soon as they are filled. We saw both types of...More
