Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting place but not if you object to overcrowded farms. The crocs are packed in tight and look like statues (our guide poked at them with a stick to get a reaction--which he got). We were charged $3 a person. I think I read that they charge more if you come in a tuk tuk versus walking. They guy working there put rubber bands around the mouths of the baby crocs before our kids held them. Our kids enjoyed the experience.

Great seeing and holding baby crocs for $2 USD pp. In regards to the rest of the farm, people have to make a living somehow. The area overall was quite clean and crocs were being hosed with water whilst we were there. We knocked on door of one farm that didn't have any baby crocs and then a lady pulled up in scooter to take us to her farm across the rd. So don't be afraid of pulling up to the corrugated fencing and calling out.

This was included on our tuk tuk tour of Battambangs sights one day. It wasn't overly expensive, but there's not alot to see inside except for hundreds and hundreds of crocodiles loaded into small, smelly pens. Conditions for them are poor - they are bred for the sole purpose of sale/leather production. So in a way, felt almost guilty about coming...not really a place for proper animal lovers.
Still, got some interesting insight into this particular business which is obviously important to the owners. Also got to hold a baby croc, which was kinda cute.
Overall tho you could probably miss this out.

I made the mistake to go there, without informing myself about the farms. We paid to get in, and saw in what an awful conditions those animals live. After years of living in a cage with hundreds of other crocodiles (in a place way way to small for them) they sell the crocodile for its skin. I think this is really sad and should not be supported by anyone. This is not why animals live on earth!!! Please do not go there.

I wish I had never given 2 USD to see those poor animals sitting in a crowded empty pool waiting to become skin for some old lady's purse. My mistake.

Sorry, but this just wasn't my thing, we were out on a day tour of local villages and tour guide asked if we wanted to go, we decided we would simply because we were then .
I honestly can,t tell you why the crocodiles are farmed! I wasn't paying attention, it was smelly and I was terrified of overbalancing and ending up as croc fodder. Aside from that- this is not natural crocodile habitat - and I would never ever want to have or purchase something made from crocodile . If you go I guarantee you won't be there more than 30 minutes.

I dragged my reluctant 7 YO daughter from the hotel pool to get out and see something and we ended up here. It ended up being her favourite part of 4 weeks in Cambodia. The owner was absolutely lovely - answered all our questions and showed us around so patiently and then apologised for her poor English (which wasn't poor at all). She really made the visit a great one. Seeing the baby crocs and getting to hold one was a great experience for the children. I found the pits with so many crocs a little disturbing, but then again, its not a nature reserve.

A half hour out of your day to see hundreds of crocs! Not the best conditions, and considering they live like that for 30-35 years until being unable to breed anymore and then being sold onto Thailand for leather, a pretty miserable existence. However, still worth a look if in the vicinity & the babies are adorable.

Was not sure what to expect when I entered. You initially see baby crocodiles at 1 and 3 months old. You are able to hold these if you like. Then you see various ages of crocodiles up to 6 yrs old. The almost look fake as they hardly move. The definitely look scary. The pens where the crocodiles are kept could provide a bit more information such as the age of the crocodiles and the amount of food each would consume in a day or week.

Paid $2 entry fee. Was able to hold a baby crocodile and see the middle aged ones and large groups of older ones just napping. The women running the place didn’t speak English, or read English when I tried to use google translate to ask questions.
It was cool to see the babies but not overall amazing. Not sure why the crocodiles are kept here, they don’t look like they live in great conditions.

I really cannot understand why anyone would pay to see animals kept in such appalling conditions.
