Absolutely amazing. My tuk tuk driver took me to a bar that is directly opposite the cave. They emerged just before sunset and kept going like a smoke trail for over 45 minutes. They were still coming out when it went dark. Awesome

This is an amazing spectacle of nature. If one wishes, there are also some temples in the area to see first, and a cave where people were tortured and dropped during the Pol Pot time. The bat cave, however, is unique. Literally millions of bats...More

A must visit if you come to Battambang. It started around between 1740hrs to 1750hrs and last for around 30 mins with around 4-5 million bats.

You can't go to Battambang and not visit the spectacle of the bats leaving their caves. Don't worry if you don't like them close up as this is all seen at a distance. As dusk gathers there are crowds of people sat opposite the opening...More

This really is a must see in Battambang. My only advice would be don't go to the Bat House bar to view it. Although advertised as the best viewing spot the bats actually fly the other way meaning the view from the ground is much...More

Definitely worth a trip, soooo many bats, unbelievable. Found a nice restaurant to sit and have a beer whilst we waited. Very busy, but worth a trip.

When you hear the claims of "millions of bats" you think "oh yeah yeah." But having seen in, it seems very plausible. They just keep coming and coming and coming. Very cool to see. Lots of places to sit amd watch - though not free,...More
